AI and Regulatory Compliance | Tel Aviv 2022
From 12 December 2022 to 14 December 2022 the Israel Science Foundation, Bar-Ilan University's Faculty of Law and the BIU LawDataLab host an interdisciplinary Conference on current questions at the intersection between Compliance and AI in Tel Aviv. The conference "Smart Compliance Systems in the AI Era: Combining Criminal and Administrative Measures" will explore the intersections between two emerging and quickly developing research fields: the use of advanced technologies (e.g., algorithmic regulation, data mining, GIS and decision-making tools) in legal enforcement decision making and the formation of Combined Enforcement Systems (CESs), that combine administrative measures, mainly monetary sanctions with criminal sanctions. The workshop includes the discussion of recent approaches in formation of Combined Enforcement System (CES) in Israel.
Tel Aviv's Bar-Ilan University, founded in 1955, is one of Israel's leading institutions of higher education, combining cutting-edge scientific research with education steeped in Jewish values and social responsibility.
